Terms and Conditions

This general policy supersedes all previous policies. The terms and conditions may change at any time without prior notice.

Acceptance of orders

All orders are accepted subject to price prevailing at the time of shipment. Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to approval of The McGee Group, Marietta, Georgia. Shipping point is Marietta, Georgia.

Terms

All payment terms are subject to the approval of The McGee Group credit department. Our available terms are: net 30 days from invoice date, credit card payment with proper authorization forms on file, Cash on Delivery (COD).

Processing and Shipping

Priority will be given to orders that are received before 1 PM (EST). These orders will usually ship the same day they are received. We ship via USPS, UPS, or Federal Express at their respective rates. You will be notified the date you place your order if a backorder situation exists.

Returns and Exchanges

Optical Frames

  • Frames must be in the original The McGee Group packaging and in resalable condition. This consists of poly bag, backing card, and demonstration lenses in proper position. The McGee Group reserves the right to a $2.00 handling fee on frames returned not in resalable condition. No credit will be given for returned frame components.
  • All of the cases must be included in the return. Frames returned without the cases will be charged $3.00 per case and $5.00 for Vera Bradley cases.

Sunglasses

  • Sunglasses must be returned in the original packaging. This consists of poly bag and lenses in proper position. The McGee Group reserves the right to charge a handling fee for any sunglasses returned in non-resalable condition. No credit will be given for returned frame components.
  • Sunglasses returned with damaged lenses are not subject to The McGee Group’s standard return policy. These will be handled on a case by case basis. Sunglasses returned with missing lenses are not eligible for credit.
  • All of the cases must be included in the return. Sunglasses returned without the cases will be charged $3.00 per case and $5.00 for Vera Bradley cases.

All returns/exchanges are subject to the most recent one year purchasing period.

Warranty/Manufacturer’s Defect

The McGee Group frame and case products are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a warranty period of two (2) years from date of purchase. Should any frame be found to be defective within such time, The McGee Group agrees to repair or replace the frame in the same style, color, and size at no charge to the purchaser. The McGee Group will determine which frames have a true manufacturer’s defect and which do not. This guarantee covers the frame only and does not extend to the lenses. Replacement or repair to the lenses shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Optical Frames

  1. All optical frames are warranties for a period of 2 years from the purchase date of the frame. This warranty is covered by our Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
  2. We guarantee the quality and construction of our products. This Manufacturer’s Guarantee covers: structural integrity, component quality, solder points, temple printing, branding elements, initial frame form and color consistency.
  3. The Manufacturer’s Guarantee does not include: any damages to the frame or lenses from obvious misuse by the wearer, scratching, tarnishing, pet damage, destruction or damage by motor vehicle, stepping on or sitting on, bending, twisting, damage resulting from improper adjustment, or any warping that results from wear over a period of time. These and other conditions will be deemed Non-Manufacturer’s Defects.

Sunglasses

  1. All sunglasses are warrantied for a period of 2 years from the purchase date of the frame. This warranty is covered by our Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
  2. We guarantee the quality and construction of our products. This Manufacturer’s Guarantee covers: structural integrity, component quality, lens color, lens coating quality, solder points, temple printing, branding elements, initial frame form and color consistency.
  3. The Manufacturer’s Guarantee does not include: any damages to the frame or lenses from obvious misuse by the wearer, scratching, tarnishing, pet damage, destruction or damage by motor vehicle, stepping on or sitting on, bending, twisting, damage resulting from improper adjustment, or any warping that results from wear over a period of time. These and other conditions will be deemed Non-Manufacturer’s Defects.
